B: Blue Eagle, quite often, the events affecting our planet are interpreted by spiritual personalities as a consequence of Man's deeds; thus, natural cataclysms will often be taken as a consequence of the Occidental modern way of life, which mistreats the earth and causes serious breaches in the natural equilibrium. But most of the time, the regions affected most seriously are not the ones of the rich industrialised countries: typhoons, earthquakes and tsunami rather occur in very poor regions, killing hundreds, when not thousands, of people, causing entire populations to be uprooted to other lands, and increasing the misery there. How are we to make sense of all this?

BE: This is not true. Natural disasters happen in California, in New Orleans, in Europe to name but a few events of the recent years. Of course, these countries are better equipped to respond to the need of the people than the 'poor' countries. So we do not feel the same compassion nor do we get the same dramatic images in the media when 'rich' countries suffer these catastrophies. There could also be a deliberate will by the media to exaggerate the destruction in poor countries and play down the events in rich countries. That is part of modern conditionings. As for the pollution and ecological damage, all countries are now suffering from these problems that know no boundaries. Radioactive pollution from Russia was felt by many countries in Europe for example and other similar examples are numerous.

B: Blue Eagle, many wise people tell us that all that happens in life has a meaning, a logic and a reason, that everything follows the laws of the Universe. They affirm that all can be understood from a spiritual point of view and that every event contains in itself the seed of a meaningful lesson meant to help us grow in wisdom and understanding. But when one considers for example what happened a few days ago in the Atlantic, that airplane crashing with about 228 persons on it and none surviving, it seems quite hard to find a meaning for such an event. Maybe for some persons that destiny was right, even if it sounds quite indecent to say, but how could we take it that it was right for all the passengers? How are we to make sense of this?

BE: Karma… is not a very original answer but the only one that fits here. This calls to mind a story about Buddha. One day the Buddha got a headache that lasted for a few hours. His disciples were curious about this, how could an illumined master get a headache? He explained that thousands of years in the past he had been at the head of an army that had killed a great many people. He explained that the karma had just ripened and that all his reincarnated companions of that time had perished on this day in another armed conflict. Because of his spiritual accomplishments Buddha did not need to suffer death but did pay for his karma with a headache.

Many awakened teachers also teach that it is possible to neutralise karma. Many techniques and prayers exist with this intention. A more profound teaching explains that we can neutralise all karma through our conscious awareness, that unity with the Divine within eliminates all need to suffer negative circumstances because of our past actions. Dzochen Tibetan Buddhist teachings, some Cherokee masters and the teachings of Daniel Zekkoute all affirm this. This is very important and significant. We are not victims of our past lives doomed to always suffer through life because of our errors. The path to awakening to the Divine within is there in every moment and we are free to embrace that ultimate and pure reality. Therein lies bliss and freedom from all karmic hindrances.

Peace and light

B: Thank you for this reply, but when I read this, I cannot help wondering what is the meaning of paying for one’s karma in such circomstances, if the people on this plane had no chance to reach awareness in this process. What did such a destiny bring to them, what lesson could they learn, since they died in probably a few minutes or hours, and if they had no connection to the spiritual notions you evoke, they could no relate their fate to anything meaningful? Nor will probably most of their desperate families?

BE: The soul is eternal and immortal and has the potential to be all knowing naturally without any need for teachings or training. Many people have spoken of the moment of death when our whole life flashes before our eyes in a instant of penetrating awareness. In that moment lies the opportunity for enlightenment. Always available at any moment, at the specific moment of abandoning the physical envelope to the earth and flying to other dimensions of being, Man (both mal and female) has a special, very powerful opportunity to reach liberation.

The idea that we need exterior teachings and training, a master or a gourou, or any other outside influence to attain wisdom, knowledge and enlightenment, is erroneous. We have been created perfect from the very beginning and we always have access to the Divine light that offers that wisdom at any and every moment. Of course, teaching and teachers can be useful and then again they sometimes mask the path to truth in an effort to enlist our devotion and financial support. Sad as that might be we have seen that again and again, the enslavement of human consciousness to the occult (hidden) motives of religious groups or supposedly spiritual masters.

So, that opportunity for liberation and enlightenement is always there and we can access it at any time. That is why there is no need to feel distress or sadness at the moment of death. On the contrary, an incredible window of transformation and liberation is at hand. Native people all over the earth have always cultivated an awareness of the courage and fearlessness that are important at the moment of death. Most will approach that time with joy, singing their death chant.

This is a very important question, thank you, hopefully my answer will be clear enough to inspire inner understanding and peace.

Blue Eagle, do you have any information concerning the 21st December, 2012 ? Some people think that many will die because of natural disasters. In particular because of the collision with the Nibiru planet and the inversion of the magnetic poles! Is there a way we can avoid this disaster?

Thomas

BE: It is true that many prophecies speak about those two events. It is very important to understand that Man is the co-creator of events and life on earth. He has control of his own destiny, and he can transform the course of events if he decides to. Our future is not cast in concrete, as an expression from Quebec has it. Prophesies are but potentialities, possibilities that are only useful as means to prevent undesirable circumstances. Proof of this is that during the past 30 years, the earth came very close to being destroyed three times. Each time, this was avoided thanks to the conscious and loving awareness of a few Men and Women. Never have we been so close to achieving the life style that is capable of transforming the earth into an earthly paradise, just as it was in the beginning. We can decide for ourselves to be the guardians of our thoughts so that they may be filled with joy, light, peace and love. Our thoughts shape the world around us. If you grant these words of doom and disaster any importance, then you give energy to them. If you visualize a world of beauty, harmony with nature and with all beings, you will support that reality. We are the ones who can decide to make this world the paradise we want to bestow on our children. Now we have all the information we need for this, thanks to our marvelous Anastasia. Thus, there is no need to live in fear or apprehension. Let’s assume our divine nature, as co-creators of the world, and we shall live in joy and bliss. We can avert disasters and create a world of happiness and beauty. Thus has been promised by Great Spirit to all Men and Women who assume their divine nature. Thus it is.

Peace

B: Blue Eagle, I saw with great enthusiasm that you were organising tours in Europe, and I heard about a seminar on crystals. After announcing a three-year retreat last year, it seems that you are now willing to get back to your activities -or is this trip to Europe meant to be punctual? And if you intend to start again teaching, writing and giving concerts, which would sound absolute great news, what made you change your mind? A personal reorganisation of your life, or is there a more spiritual reason, related to the (r)evolution of energies at present?

BE: After 20 years of active teaching, my retreat did not go without much disappointment on the part of students in several countries. It was pretty hard to say no all the time, yet I am really having a marvellous time being able to stay with my garden and my daughter more often. Also I have been able to write more, to make more music and I am working on a few fragrances that will be very interesting.

I still have a few things to share though. I still feel the calling to give a few more workshops on crystals. My understanding of the primordial philosophy of our original instructions has also come full circle and I feel it is now complete. So, that also I would like to share a few times to see how people are able to integrate. But yes, the workshops are punctual; I will not come back to the full time teaching I used to do. I have not changed my mind about my retreat. In fact it will not be three years but a permanent orientation. I feel now to give to the land and the gardens. I find such joy in the contemplation of nature. That is difficult when one is travelling around all the time and meeting many people.

So, yes I will be giving a few workshops in Europe and Quebec in the fall. I will also go to the American southwest at some point, maybe in 2010. Maybe I will do something once a year for a few years. But this is very punctual and sporadic and I don’t think it is something that will grow. I even suspect it will slowly dwindle as my involvement with the books, music, fragrances and creating sacred space on the land will grow.

The energies on earth are really changing very fast. We will see many incredible changes in the years that are coming. Look towards Russia, the most extraordinary changes are happening there, not yet main stream, yet slowly moving towards a firm commitment of all the people to the ecology and the building of family domains. Such wealth and happiness will come to those countries that understand that nature is the best of all teachers and providers. We are indeed fortunate to have a human body in these times.

The eco-villages that are to be built now require at least 150 families to really be able to build the permanent infrastructures that will support the creating into perpetuity of paradise on earth. I am not really able to fully describe this yet, since the silence grows in my heart as each day fills it with awe. Others can pick up the torch and run with it now. I will continue to share here as the questions come. Otherwise the silence would be so deep you would not hear from me. Thank you, Great Mystery, for your infinite blessings. You are in all, in us, in everything… may we recognize You always.

Peace and light,

B: Blue Eagle, I would like to ask you a question about meditation: Matthieu Ricard, in his last book, ‘‘L'Art de méditer’’, proposes to practice meditation with eyes half-closed, looking straight ahead or slightly towards the floor. However, some people find it easier to keep their eyes closed. Does this detail have any important influence on concentration?

BE: The complete technique is to close your eyes if you have an agitated mind, to keep them open if you have a tendency to go snoozing during meditation, and to keep them half-open if you are experimented. When people practice visualization exercises, they usually keep their eyes closed, but then, if they want to increase their concentration, they can keep them half-open, and later, open.

B: How can you describe the mind of a meditating person? Does meditation mean a complete interruption of the thinking process, or rather a continuous concentration on the same object? Is it possible to completely interrupt the thinking process for a while?

BE: True meditation is a state where the thought remains motionless. The most exact wording I could find for this is ''conscious awareness''. Concentrating on an object, visualization or a sound are intermediate exercises to achieve the ability to meditate without any object. And this doesn’t mean to interrupt your thought, but rather to leave it completely quiet, by letting any thought simply pass by. Indeed, thought is different from ''conscious awareness''. The Human Being animates the co-creation of the world with the Divine, and thought is the main instrument of this co-creation. Thus, Man (with the same meaning as used in Vladimir Megre’s books, neither feminine nor masculine, but the one who is created in God’s likeliness, hence the use of a capital “M”), when he enjoys perfect inner harmony, can concentrate on the manifestation of the ideal with active creative thought, and then contemplate the result of his co-creation, namely his life and all that he creates, in a state of beatitude and total rest, which we can name ''conscious awareness''.

B: Does this mean thoughts are still coming up, but we just ignore them? Does it mean it is impossible to experience a state where thoughts are completely absent of our mind? For example, if one concentrates on a sound, can it be considered as a thought?

BE: Yes, there is a state without any thought at all, called ''contemplation'' or ''meditation without object''. Here, the sound is a thought indeed, since there is an object.

B: Now I have a question on the spiritual quest: some people devote their life to get closer to their inner being; for that purpose, they will spend hours every day, for example meditating, or developing a physical practice, or praying ; they can isolate themselves most of the time so as to better connect themselves to their inner source. Some others have no concept of spirituality, but are moved by other people’s destiny, and live a completely altruistic life. I have a friend who devotes her whole free time, including a large part of her nights, and all her money as well, to an association she created to help young delinquents. Some others will voluntarily campaign for the exiled children from Tibet, or any other altruistic cause, etc. Spirituality often teaches us that every individual being is a mere particle of the universe, and that he should seek to retrieve this state of fusion with the wholeness, and to forget about himself as an individual. When I look at those people devoting themselves entirely to others, I have the feeling they are in total harmony with that teaching, even when they don’t want to hear a word about spirituality. And when I strive to have more and more time for meditation, to connect myself to my being, to isolate myself for my practice, even if it doesn’t mean to nourish my ego, I don’t get the impression that I am connected to the universe, or that I’m doing anything for those suffering on the earth. I know this practice can help us to connect to the universe, but in the same time, it appears to me as quite egoistic. How can this paradox be solved?

BE: This question can be solved through the understanding of what Native Americans call ''the original instructions'', or what some other masters describe as being the purpose of a Man’s life. Each ''Man'' should answer this question for himself, as every being has a unique mission. When one accomplishes his inner mission, one is in harmony with the world and in connection to the Divine, be it through activity or meditation. The real question is ''Who am I?'' The real answer, already given since Antiquity by Socrates, is ''Know thyself, and thou shalt know the universe and the gods''.
